EMBEDDED WITH XMOS 16 CORE CHIP WITH WIMA CAPACITORS FOR MQA SUPPORT The team at EarMen decided to utilise the XMOS XU216 chip with 16 cores which with its excellent performance enabled the Tradutto to decode MQA formats as well as other necessary functions for listening to music. XMOS XU216 16-Core chip delivers double the clock speed of 2000MIPS and four times the memory at 512KB. This chip allows the EarMen Tradutto to play the highest audio formats effortlessly. Wima capacitors are embedded to obtain the lowest THD as well as audio electrolytes in combination with MELF low noise resistors and SoundPlus OPA1642 operational amplifiers, which proved to be great for getting neutral sound.
