In a nutshell: The HiFiMAN Shangri-La has a 300B vacuum tube amp while the HiFiMAN Shangri-La Jr has a 6SN7N vacuum tube amp. An important decision. Choose wisely. Electrostatic…hmmm…is there any danger of getting a shock? No, these headphones are absolutely safe and you do not need to worry about getting a shock. There are many resistors to keep the current low. There is also a relay-based system that cuts off the output if there is any problem in the amp. Is there any risk of arcing?
